Dear Friends,
I hope and trust that this finds you well.
As we now know, the government lockdown does mean that we cannot gather for worship in our beautiful church. We can however open the church for individual prayer during the day and will do so Monday- Friday 10am- 12noon. We will need volunteers to help us in a range of areas over the coming weeks. If you can offer some time to assist, especially if you are younger and not in a vulnerable group, could you please contact me or Lizzie on Elizabeth.lees@sheffield.
Mass will be celebrated and live-streamed via our Facebook page www.facebook.com/
I put out a little video last night which you can access here: https://fb.watch/
The Church Union and The Society, which is supported by Forward in Faith, join with the leaders of the Church of England and the Roman Catholic Church in England and Wales in urging you to observe a month of Prayer for the Nation during this second national lockdown. As many of us as possible should unite at 6pm each day to say the Angelus and offer intercessions for the vulnerable and those charged with their care. They have just released this short prayer booklet helps you with that.
