St Matthew’s has been a place for generations of students and young people to grow in their faith.

Founded in 1855, we are a Church of England Parish confident in our Anglo-Catholic tradition and welcoming of all. St Matthew’s Church is a safe place to grow, ask questions, meet new people, and belong.

You can find us open every day of the week for worship and for quiet prayer.

Adoremus Young Adults Pilgrimage to Walsingham
22-24 November
Teaching, faith-sharing, fellowship, and deep prayer at the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham in Norfolk. £130 pp with grants available. More information here.

Christmas Carol Service
Sunday 15 December 4:00pm
In the presence of Civic Guests. Followed by mulled wine and mince pies.
