We are really grateful that the first Pave the Nave Sponsored Event has been announced. PCC member Minerva is competing in the Sheffield 10k and is raising funds for the Pave the Nave campaign.

It’s that time of year again: the Sheffield 10k run on 29 September 2024!
This year I’m extending my passion for running 10ks to help raise money for St Matthew’s campaign to PAVE THE NAVE. The Pave the Nave Campaign raises money for 1×1 metre squares of the new Nave floor, which is approximately £160 per 1 metre2. There are a total of 293m2 tiles (https://stmatthewscarverstreet.co.uk/regenerate/). With this 10k run fundraiser we might be able to contribute collectively to a few metre2 tiles to help rebuild the whole nave of the church. Something that will last decades to come! Imagine the legacy we will be leaving for generations to come right in the heart of the city of Sheffield.
