Catholic Evangelism Lecture

The Sheffield Annual Lecture in Catholic Evangelism is a highlight of the year and is a time for deep learning and reflection on how we are Catholic Christians are reaching our neighbours with the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This year’s Lecture is given by The Rt Rev’d Stephen Race SSC, The Bishop of Beverley. The Bishop has Baptised and Confirmed an ever increasing number of candidates across the Northern Province in recent months, which speaks to the moment we find ourselves in as more and more people find faith in the Lord Jesus.
St Matthew’s Festival
12:00pm Saturday 27 September
The Lecture kicks off our Patronal Festival weekend. The St Matthew’s Festival follows on Saturday with Mass and Procession at 12:00pm followed by a feast. Bishop Stephen is the Preacher and Principal Celebrant.
